Member Programs

New ASTA Crew Membership Launched!  

This summer ASTA, along with ASTA member vessel LYNX, has launched a new category of membership. Crew Memberships will be available to crew members on board ASTA Member Vessels who organizations purchase the memberships at a discounted bulk rate.   

Crew memberships will be available in groups of 10 for $250.  Application forms will be sent out tomember organization, who will then distribute them to crew members.  The memberships are valid for one year from the time ASTA receives the completed application form.  

Memberorganizations, such as LYNX, whose entire crew are ASTA members, will receive a certificate showing that they have "Full Vessel MemberSHIP" in ASTA.  

Captain Michael Kellick of LYNX has this to say about the new program:   "As stated before, I feel it is important to urge people to become members of something; a church, a bowling team, a neighborhood group, anything but please join some group. We are happy to help folks this summer know that our entire crew are ASTA members and to help encourage shipmates on other boats to consider joining too."

Our program with the Allen Agency is offered as a new and different addition to our existing program with the Jordan Harrison Agency, which continues to successfully serve many ASTA members.The Allen Agency and Jordan Harrison both pay ASTA a finder’s fee of 1% of premiums for Hull and P&I Insurance written.
